Symbolab is a math problem-solving app that assists users in finding solutions for both simple and complex equations. Launched in 2011, the app is widely utilized by students, teachers, and anyone seeking math assistance. Enter problems manually or take a picture of them

You have two options to solve math problems with Symbolab. The first step is to manually enter the math problem into the app. There's an advanced keyboard with which you can add numbers, parentheses, fractions, powers, and more. The second option is to take a picture of the problem with your smartphone's camera. Whether handwritten or typed, Symbolab will recognize it and solve it for you step-by-step, explaining why each step is needed. If the problem calls for it, Symbolab can also make a graphic representation of the solution.

Search the database for formulas and more

In addition to solving math problems, Symbolab has a large database of examples for each type of math problem, as well as lists of formulas for you to study. For example, in the case of derivatives, you can look up all the types of derivatives that exist at any time.

All your calculations are saved in the history

Symbolab saves all the calculations you've entered in the app's history. You can also keep your notepad with all the notes and formulas you want to remember that aren't included in the app. To save this information, you must log into the app, with the added advantage of accessing your calculations and exercises from other devices. Syncing this information is only available with the premium version, which also removes ads and gives more detailed explanations for each solution.
